Why did we create FanAmp?

Like many of you, I fell in love with racing after a friend insisted I watch Formula 1. While others love the speed or drama (thank you DTS), I was hooked by the pit stops. As I soaked up every facet of the racing world I quickly realized how fragmented and outdated the fan experience was. I was constantly juggling websites for information, trying to follow conversations across different group chats, and Googling for reactions to big moments. I was obsessed with the people and stories behind the sport, but finding a single place that shared that passion—a true digital home—felt impossible.

That’s why I started FanAmp: to build the essential home for race fans, a place that connects you to the world of racing through entertaining, personality-driven content and empowers you with resources you can trust. We're for the fans just as interested in the paddock as they are the podium, because we believe the most compelling action doesn't stop at the checkered flag.

On behalf of our whole team, thank you for being here. We’re building the community we always wanted for ourselves, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.

Why did we create FanAmp?

If you’re reading this, you’re probably a big Formula 1 fan. Or, maybe F1 isn’t your passion, but there’s another sport that has your heart. No matter the case, keep reading, because I think this story will resonate with every sports fan.

In recent years, I noticed a trend with my friends and family that staying plugged in to our favorite sports was becoming more and more difficult. We all had busy lives, and it was getting harder and harder to keep up with information scattered across countless websites and apps, and the conversations spread across different group chats and forums. We were often watching alone, Googling for reactions to big moments because we didn’t have anyone else to share it with.

It was at this time that I was also introduced to Formula 1. A friend was a big Lewis Hamilton fan and insisted I watch a few races. I took his advice, and after those first laps and some episodes of Drive to Survive I was hooked, but I ran into the same problems with the overall fan experience.

That’s when I decided it was time for a change. Rather than forcing people to juggle apps and Google for friends, I wanted fans to live their biggest passions effortlessly. That’s when FanAmp was born.

FanAmp is a community hub for Formula 1 fans. That means we give F1 fans one place - one home - for their complete fan experience. They use it to connect with fans and F1 creators from around the world, to stay up-to-date with news, compete for points and prizes with race predictions, access race essentials when they’re heading to the track, and so much more.
After sharing F1 with people from around the world through FanAmp - both in the app and in-person at countless races - I can safely say that I never want to go back to the way things were before.

On behalf of the whole FanAmp team, we’re so lucky that you’re here. We’re privileged to serve F1 fans every day to make their experience the best possible. Please reach out and let us know what you think.

See you in the app and at the track.
