Lawyers representing former Ferrari driver Felipe Massa are taking legal action against Formula One executives and the governing FIA, alleging a "conspiracy" that cost him the 2008 championship. In an eight-page letter sent on August 15 to Formula One CEO Stefano Domenicali and FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem, London-based Enyo Law claims Massa was a victim of a plot involving high-level F1 individuals and the FIA, resulting in lost earnings due to deliberate actions by another driver during the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. The letter asserts Massa should have won the championship, seeking substantial damages and recognition of his rightful title.

Approximately 150 taxi drivers lack the required certification to enter the circuit area, leading to potential restrictions. A special 'Taxi-pass' certificate is necessary for access, but the municipality and Dutch GP organizers have stated that no exceptions will be made. Taxi drivers are considering protests or road blockades, prompting the municipality to consult with local authorities and police to manage the situation. The disagreement stems from past incidents of unauthorized access causing disruptions and inconveniences in the area.
