Hamilton and Russell commit to Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton has signed a new contract with Mercedes, securing his position as a driver for the team until the end of the 2025 season. This deal comes after extensive discussions with team boss Toto Wolff. Hamilton, who joined Mercedes in 2013, holds numerous records, including seven world championships, 104 pole positions, and 103 race wins. F2 launches striking new look for 2024

F2 has unveiled its new car that closely mimics an F1 car in design, safety, and performance. Revealed at Monza before the Italian GP, the car incorporates a 3.4-litre turbo-charged Mecachrome engine and provisions for upcoming sustainable fuels. It will initially run on 55 percent bio-sourced sustainable fuel before transitioning to 100 percent synthetic sustainable fuels by 2027. The design aligns with 2024 braking and steering specifications, aiming to offer a platform that prepares young drivers for F1 while promoting accessibility and wheel-to-wheel racing. The car, despite further development, represents a significant step towards F2's commitment to sustainability and driver development.
