Ferrari has confirmed that Charles Leclerc will receive a 10-place grid penalty at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to the installation of his third Control Electronics component, exceeding the penalty-free limit for the season. Leclerc retired from the Bahrain Grand Prix with power unit issues earlier this month. Ferrari is working to address its reliability concerns after facing multiple problems in 2022, including race-winning positions in Spain and Azerbaijan.
