Verstappen heckled after victory in Miami

Max Verstappen won his second consecutive Miami Grand Prix despite boos from the crowd, extending his lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship to 14 points. Verstappen fought his way back from ninth on the grid to win the race and was jeered by a small group of supporters at the track. He shrugged off the negative reaction and stated that winning was the most important thing. “I take the trophy home and they go back to their houses and they can have a nice evening.” Verstappen and Red Bull will continue their fine form at the next race in Imola, Italy, on May 21.

Marko slams FIA's "manipulative tricks"

Red Bull Motorsport Advisor Helmut Marko has accused Formula 1 of using "manipulative tricks" to limit Red Bull's advantage in the championship, citing the shortening of DRS zones in Azerbaijan and Miami as an example. He believes the changes were aimed at targeting the team's straight-line efficiency, which has left other teams stunned. Marko called for an end to such interventions and criticized Mercedes, who he said had previously enjoyed a dominant position in the sport.

Perez admits Verstappen was "unreachable"

Sergio Perez admitted that Max Verstappen's pace was "unreachable" during the Miami Grand Prix, where Perez finished second to his teammate. Verstappen started in ninth place but managed to make his way through the field and pass Perez after stopping for new tires. Perez acknowledged Verstappen's strong performance and emphasized the importance of putting the team ahead of themselves. The two drivers had a good battle for the lead, with Perez saying that a bit more fighting would have resulted in contact, which wouldn't have been fair to either driver.

Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz criticized their cars after struggling to keep up with the competition during the Miami Grand Prix. Leclerc noted that the car was difficult to manage and inconsistent, with noticeable tire degradation affecting his performance. Sainz was hit with a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane and also criticized the car's consistency, calling it difficult to drive and noting the need to try different things to improve.
