Disney reveals release date for Brawn GP docuseries

"Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story" is a four-part documentary series that tells the extraordinary tale of Ross Brawn saving the former Honda F1 team after Honda decided to leave the sport in 2008. The series includes interviews with key figures like Ross Brawn, Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, Nick Fry, and Christian Horner. It promises behind-the-scenes footage and access to previously unseen F1 archives. The series is hosted by Hollywood star Keanu Reeves and produced by North One, with episodes available on Disney+ and Hulu in the US starting from November 15, 2023. The story revolves around Brawn taking over the team for a symbolic pound, securing a Mercedes engine supply, and achieving remarkable success, ultimately leading to Mercedes' re-entry into F1 in 2010.

AlphaTauri expresses concerns over cost-cap changes

AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer expressed concerns about Formula 1's cost-cap regulations, particularly the changes in CapEx spending, which he found less favorable. As a former FIA Secretary-General involved in developing these regulations, Bayer is well-informed about financial matters in the sport. The CapEx reform will provide additional funds for the lower-ranked teams, with the bottom four teams receiving $20 million compared to $6 million for Ferrari, Red Bull, and Mercedes. Alpine racers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly engage in a "Guess Who" game but with a Formula 1 twist. The game features all the current drivers on the grid, including those who are currently inactive.
