Drivers push for stricter track limit rules

Multiple Formula 1 drivers are calling for reform of track limits after numerous violations during the recent Formula 1 Sprint at The Circuit of the Americas. The absence of physical deterrents like gravel traps and reliance on white lines alone has led to a high number of breaches. Some drivers believe that a more stringent solution, such as reintroducing gravel traps or sausage curbs, is needed to enforce track limits effectively. They argue that the current white line rule is insufficient and lacks consistency in penalties. The debate also involves discussions on the adequacy of penalties for track limit violations, with some drivers feeling that the penalties should be more severe to discourage rule-breaking.

Perez hopes for a better performance in the sprint race and acknowledges the challenges of sprint weekends due to early parc ferme conditions.

Despite being sidelined for five Grands Prix due to a hand injury, he qualified 15th for the main race and improved to 11th in the Sprint Shootout. Ricciardo acknowledged that he lacked race sharpness but was satisfied with his progress and performance.

Painting the RB19

Oracle Red Bull Racing documented the process of applying Franco Cavallone's Texan-themed design to their car for the US Grand Prix in Austin. Franco, a 39-year-old graphic designer from Argentina, earned the opportunity through the Make Your Mark Campaign, which he entered after getting inspired during Make Your Mark Miami. David Quinn and his team handled the application of the design.

Perez sketches COTA

It takes more than skill, determination, and capacity to drive an F1 car, and Sergio Perez seems to have all of them. But what does it take to draw the COTA circuit from memory? Well, ESPN presented Perez with the challenge of sketching the famous Circuit of the Americas, and even though it seemed to be quite a challenge at first, Perez did a good job.
