How Mercedes preps rookies for FP1

Every season, two FP1 sessions must be completed by a rookie driver. In Mexico, junior driver Frederik Vesti will be driving the W14. The 21-year-old, who got his first taste of F1 machinery in the end-of-season young driver test in Abu Dhabi last year, will participate in the opening 60-minute session of the weekend at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Fred, along with the Team, explains why these rookie sessions are so important and what preparation is required.
