Niki Lauda's charred and scarred helmet, worn during his near-fatal crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix, is up for public auction for the first time by Bonhams. The helmet showcases deeply scarred paintwork, a partly melted visor, and tattered decals. The helmet is estimated to fetch between $50,000-$60,000 (£40,400-£48,500), and the auction will occur in Miami ahead of the Grand Prix.
