FIA implements track changes for Austrian GP

The FIA has implemented significant changes at the Red Bull Ring ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix to address the persistent track limits issue. Last year, there were an alarming 1200 infringements and delays in race results due to protests. To prevent a recurrence, 2.5-meter wide gravel strips now line Turns 9 and 10, while the white lines in other turns have been adjusted to keep drivers within two meters of gravel. These adjustments aim to clearly define track boundaries and discourage drivers from exploiting track limits for competitive advantage.

Stroll extends Aston Martin contract beyond 2025

Aston Martin announced that Lance Stroll has signed a multi-term contract extension, keeping him with the team beyond the 2025 season. Stroll joined the Silverstone-based team in 2019 after moving from Williams following Lawrence Stroll's takeover. Since then, he has secured two podiums and remained with the team through its transition to Aston Martin in 2021. With Stroll and Fernando Alonso on multi-year deals, Aston Martin will maintain an unchanged lineup for the 2026 regulation changes.

Gasly signs Alpine contract extension

Pierre Gasly has committed his F1 future to Alpine by signing a new long-term contract extending beyond 2025. Despite a challenging season placing him 15th in the drivers' championship, Gasly expressed his commitment to Alpine's long-term vision and satisfaction with the team's direction. McLaren unveils 2024 Goodwood Festival lineup

McLaren Racing announced their lineup for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which features significant milestones in their history. They will commemorate 30 years since Ayrton Senna's passing and 50 years since their 1974 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships and Indianapolis 500 win. The team will showcase Senna’s 1991 championship-winning MP4/6 driven by Bruno Senna, Emerson Fittipaldi in his M23, and Johnny Rutherford’s M16C/D. These iconic cars will run up the hill multiple times during the festival to honor McLaren's racing history.
