Q1 saw both Alpine drivers fall short of the top 15. Lance Stroll brought up the rear to qualify in 20th making for a very disappointing session. Q2 brought some surprises with Liam Lawson qualifying in 12th, right behind his teammate Yuki Tsunoda. After his first Q3 appearance last weekend, Logan Sargeant was only able to put his Williams in 15th. Q3 had fans on the edge of their seat! Alex Albon put his Williams in 6th behind Sergio Perez. Lando Norris qualified in 9th with his teammate Oscar Piastri putting his McLaren in 7th. It was a race right until the very end with Carlos Sainz claiming pole for the Tifosi!
