FP3 was exciting for the fans and the drivers. George Russell surprisingly topped the session while his Mercedes teammate, Lewis Hamilton, finished in 8th. Despite the Ferraris looking strong in FP2, they struggled today with Leclerc finishing in 16th and Sainz finishing in 17th. The Williams looked strong with Logan Sargeant making a surprise top 3 finish while Alex Albon had a disappointing end to the session, hitting the wall and losing a tire. This brought out the red flag, prematurely ending Free Practice 3.
