Q1 saw both Alfa Romeo drivers fall short of the top 15. Logan Sargeant was unable to put his Williams in a position higher than 18th. Lance Stroll brought up the rear to qualify in 20th after suffering a dramatic crash on his final lap. Thankfully he is okay but the red flag prevented Oscar Piastri from getting out of the bottom five. Q2 provided lots of excitement as the Red Bull drivers struggled for what seems to be the first time this season. Sergio Perez spun out on his final lap, halting his qualifying while Max Verstappen got knocked out by Liam Lawson who is will be making his first Q3 appearance in only his third race! Q3 had fans on the edge of their seat. Ferrari looked like they could have the first Singapore lockout since 2014 until George Russell split the two drivers. Lando Norris qualified in fourth, narrowly missing out on the top three. Liam Lawson put his AlphaTauri in tenth with a very impressive first Q3 appearance. After dominating the practice sessions, Carlos Sainz came home to take pole!
