The Best Fan Zones and Events at the Hungarian GP

The Hungarian Grand Prix is a race that fans look forward to all season long. For Round 14 of the 2025 Formula 1 season, the drivers and teams are heading back to the iconic Hangaroring Circuit located just outside the bustling city of Budapest. This is the last round before Formula 1 goes on their summer break until the end of August. Despite the incredible on-track action, there is also a variety of off-track action for all the fans to enjoy throughout the duration of the Grand Prix weekend. 

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Thursday, July 31st to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. 

The Hungarian Grand Prix offers numerous fan zone activities for all race goers to participate in. Aside from the on track action, fans can experience tons of fun off the track as well!

F1 Fan Zones‍

This year, there are actually two different fan zones that race attendees can go to! There is the original fan zone which is located at the Super Gold grandstand and then there is the new fan zone which has a slightly larger feel and is where fans can expect to find the main stage for different performances and appearances. 

Super Gold Grandstand Fan Zone

The F1 Fan Zone is located at the Super Gold grandstand which is right at the pit straight. This is the original fan zone and one that has been a constant during the race weekends for the past few years. Fans can expect all of the usual fan zone activities to keep them entertained during the breaks between the on track sessions!

Apex 1 Fan Zone

This is the newer fan zone that is much larger than the original one located near the Super Gold grandstand. This area is located behind the Apex 1 and 2 grandstands which are right at Turn 12. Here, fans can expect to find the main stage where there will be confirmed driver and team personnel appearances, DJ’s and other fan forum events! There are also numerous food and beverage options as well as the best merchandise stands for fans to purchase items in support of their favorite driver or team.

Driver and Team Personnel Appearances

Over the course of the Grand Prix weekend, fans can expect to see driver and team personnel interviews on the stage in the fan zone located near the Apex 1 and 2 grandstand at Turn 12! This is a great way for fans to interact with their favorite athletes and hear first-hand stories and opinions from their season thus far.

There aren’t confirmed time slots for the individual people yet, but we know the hours when people from the respective series will be on the stage.
