The Best Fan Zones and Events at the Japanese GP 2026

Traveling to Suzuka for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix? Make sure you don't miss out on these events, activities and fan zones happening all throughout the weekend!

It’s week 3 of the 2026 Formula 1 season and the drivers and teams are headed to Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix! The race weekend will run from Thursday March 26th to Sunday March 29th, 2026.

The Japanese Grand Prix is riddled with history and has become a fan favorite event for countless reasons. Located in Mie Prefecture, the Suzuka International Racing Course continues to offer visitors with countless on and off track activities. The on track action is unparalleled and has seen some of the most famous battles in F1 history. The off track action keeps you busy during the session breaks and provides fans with an unforgettable Grand Prix experience.

ON TRACK

F1 Fan Zone (GP Fan Zone)

The Japanese Grand Prix hosts a variety of different fan zones for their ticket holders. The GP Fan Zone will be located right behind the main grandstands (Grandstand V1 and V2). This area is going to be the main spot to find all sorts of F1 related activities! Not only will there be a plethora of activations and merchandise stands, but this is also where the fan stage will be located making it the best spot for visitors to hear from their favorite drivers and team members. 

What to expect:

  • F1 Simulators
  • Official merchandise
  • F1 Show Car
  • F1 Blast Lane
  • Q&A Session with drivers (more details coming)
  • Food and Beverage options

Over the course of the weekend, fans can expect to see a variety of musical performances on the fan stage as well. MOS has been confirmed as one of the leading acts alongside the Ryoma Quartet.

Dates and times have yet to be confirmed. 

Driver and Team Personnel Appearances

The GP Square Official Stage located in the Fan Zone is where fans will be able to hear from their favorite drivers and teams. This is a race weekend tradition and something that the fans love at Suzuka as it’s one of the best ways to engage with the athletes of the sport they love. OFF TRACK

F1 Tokyo Fan Festival

The Tokyo Fan Festival is set to return for another year in support of the Japanese Grand Prix! This fan favorite event takes place a few days ahead of the Grand Prix and is aimed at getting all race fans excited for the action of the weekend. Fans can expect guest appearances by Formula 1 personnel, live music, and interactive exhibits. The best part? Entrance to the event is completely free!

What to expect:

  • Guest appearances by F1 personnel
  • Immersive F1 experiences
  • Live music
  • Food and beverage options

When:

  • Wednesday, March 25th 2026
    • 11:00 - 19:00

Where: 

  • Tokyo Tower (4-2-8 Shibakoen, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
  • Star Rise Tower (4-4-7 Shibakoen Minato-ku, Tokyo)
