Best and Worst F1 Fantasy Picks for the British Grand Prix

F1 Fantasy Picks - Silverstone

Lewis Hamilton

The all-time leader in race wins (9) and podiums (15) at a single circuit, Hamilton thrives at his home race. He needs just 5 points for a $0.3M price increase, while Kimi Antonelli's target ballooned to 61 points due to his Barcelona DNF.

Sportsbooks currently predict a P3 finish for Hamilton in a heavily-upgraded Ferrari, a potentially huge return for the second driver in 4A lineup.

Red Bull

The top scoring constructor over the last two race weekends, Red Bull enter the weekend with both drivers in top form. Max Verstappen's P2 finish in Austria marked the second time this season that the Dutchman led all drivers in fantasy scoring.

Red Bull's ability to battle in the midfield and complete overtakes differentiates them from other Tier A constructors. They lead all constructors with an average of 12.6 overtakes per Grand Prix, and their 20 overtakes between Barcelona and Austria dwarf the overtaking figures for Mercedes (4) and McLaren (8).

For an extra $4.3M, Red Bull pose the biggest threat to knock off Ferrari as the #2 constructor in the meta lineup.

Ferrari

Despite Lewis Hamilton's reinvigorated pace through the first eight races, the other side of the Ferrari garage continues to search for answers. Charles Leclerc finished P8 in Austria after consecutive DNFs at Barcelona and Monaco, a first since he joined Ferrari. Leclerc's Silverstone history offers little relief — the Monegasque driver finished P14 in both 2024 and 2025.

If McLaren recreate the pace that inspired their 1-2 victory last season and Max Verstappen maintains his form from Austria, Ferrari face their toughest challenge of the season. Friday's Free Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying sessions will be critical to selecting the best constructors for the weekend.

Franco Colapinto

What a difference a week makes! With his 0 point performance in Monaco removed from his three-race average, Colapinto flips from a cost cap liability to a high-upside price gainer. The Argentinian needs 8 points to gain $0.2M and 17 points for $0.6M, very reachable targets considering he averaged 19 points across the first three Sprint weekends.

Alpine continue to fight for top 10 finishes and delivered one of the most reliable cars on the grid. $3M cheaper than his teammate, Pierre Gasly, Colapinto unlocks the flexibility to upgrade a constructor or midfield driver.

Isack Hadjar

Fantasy strategists are enjoying their first taste of 4A light lineups thanks to Hadjar's recent surge. Isack finished P6 or higher in four straight races and tallied three straight fantasy scores of 15 or more points, enough for the 6th highest total during this stretch.

Hadjar enters the weekend with the second lowest target in Tier B for a maximum price gain (9 points), well within reach for a driver on a top-4 constructor on a Sprint weekend.

Gabriel Bortoleto

Bortoleto continues to provide a subtle advantage for teams with enough budget to select the Brazilian over his teammate, Nico Hulkenberg. Bortoleto scored more fantasy points than Hulkenberg in four straight races before the two drivers tied with 5 points in Austria. His value grew by $0.2M in each of the last four races and he has the third lowest target (5) to continue that streak.

Concerns over Audi's reliability have been silenced in recent weeks. Bortoleto's last retirement came in China over three months ago, while Hulkenberg's retirement in Barcelona resulted from an errant piece of gravel activating his emergency kill switch.
