Piastri topped the first practice ahead of Norris | Emilia Romagna Grand Prix FP1 Results 2025

We are kicking off the European triple header at the iconic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari located in Imola. One of Ferrari's home races and the home to Kimi Antonelli, this track always brings action and excitement. See how the drivers fared after the first practice session:

• Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull and McLaren are all bringing upgrades to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
  
  • This is in addition to a higher-downforce rear wing that is track specific
• Charles Leclerc was absent from media day on Thursday because he was feeling under the weather but that didn't stop him from taking to the track
  
  • The Monegasque driver dipped his tires into the gravel at Turn 15 after running wide
• After the Miami Grand Prix, it was announced that Franco Colapinto would be replacing Jack Doohan at Alpine for five race
  
  • Colapinto was very impressive in the Williams during the second half of the 2024 season after replacing Logan Sargeant
• Oscar Piastri is currently leading the Drivers' Championship by 16 points
• Gabriel Bortoleto brought out the yellow and then red flag with two minutes left in the session after crashing into the barriers
