Palou rules out F1 move as waste of time

Alex Palou said he does not want to move to Formula 1 because being in the middle of the pack would waste his time. He wants to stay in IndyCar where he can win races and fight for championships. Even though F1 was once his dream, he does not want to spend years with a team that can’t win. Right now, Palou is happy in IndyCar and watches F1 as a fan, even though some teams are interested in him.

Adidas to design Audi apparel in new deal

Audi will join Formula 1 in 2026 as the new name of the Sauber team. They are close to a deal with Adidas, who will provide team clothes and also support Mercedes. This will not affect the Mercedes partnership, since it is normal for teams to share sponsors. Audi has new leaders and will keep drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto for the 2026 season.

Hard lessons for Red Bull duo after midseason swap

The second Red Bull Formula 1 seat continues to be a tough place for drivers, with both Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda unable to get the best out of the RB21. Red Bull let go of Lawson after just two races and brought in Tsunoda, but he hasn’t met the team’s hopes and made a big mistake at Imola. Lawson often can’t put together a strong performance on Saturdays, and Tsunoda still doesn’t fully understand how the car behaves. Red Bull keeps changing drivers, but the second seat still doesn’t seem to have a clear or stable solution.
