Has the end of the 2025 Formula 1 season left you itching with impatience for the next year of racing to start?
Worry not, because there are still plenty of things to look forward to between now and the official start of the season in Australia on March 8th. This includes each team’s car launch event, which will give us our very first glimpse into the next generation of F1 cars as we head into a new set of regulations in the 76th year of the sport.
So when will each team reveal their 2026 challengers?
January 15th - Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls
One of the first livery reveals of the year will be a double-feature starring sister teams Red Bull and VCARB, who have announced that they will kick off their partnership with Ford in a joint car launch on January 15th.
The event will take place in Detroit, Michigan, in a nod to Ford’s roots, as they prepare to debut their Red Bull Ford Powertrains. Both Red Bull and VCARB will use these power units for the 2026 season, marking the return of Ford to F1 for the first time since 2004, when they supplied the engines for Jaguar Racing.

January 20th - Audi Revolut F1 Team
2026 marks the start of a new era on the grid, as Sauber transitions into their chapter as Audi. Officially named the Audi Revolut F1 Team, the German outfit has announced that they will unveil the car that Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will be driving next year in its full race livery at a global launch of January 20th.
The event will take place in Berlin, and will be followed by a public opening on the following day, January 21st, during which fans will have a unique opportunity to be part of the team’s inauguration.
January 23rd - BWT Alpine F1 Team
Just ahead of the 2025 season finale in Abu Dhabi, Alpine put out a save-the-date for January 23rd, with a caption simply saying, “We’ve got something to show you…”
The reveal is set to take place in Barcelona.
Like Red Bull, Alpine is taking a big leap in 2026 by switching up their engine providers. They will be parting ways with Renault to partner with Mercedes. The team will also continue with their current driver lineup of veteran Frenchman, Pierre Gasly and Argentina’s Franco Colapinto, who will embark on his first full season in F1 next year.
January 23rd - Scuderia Ferrari
Ferrari has announced that they will also be revealing their 2026 car on January 23rd. This is just three days before pre-season testing is scheduled to take place in Barcelona.
The exact location has yet to be confirmed.
Team principal Fred Vasseur has said that the team is looking to be aggressive next year, after a tough 2025 in which they came away with several podiums but not a single race win.
January 23rd - TGR Haas F1 Team
January 23rd was shaping up to be quite busy in F1, as Haas was initially also scheduled to reveal their challenger that day. However, they rescheduled the event to a few days earlier for the 19th.
They will host an online event, in which the livery they will be using for the season will be shown.
February 2nd - Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team
While their livery reveal will be held on January 22nd, ahead of the Barcelona shakedown, Mercedes is holding their official launch of the W17 after the first round of testing, on February 2nd.
The event will be streamed on social media, making it easily accessible to fans around the world, and will feature Mercedes CEO and Team Principal Toto Wolff, as well as both drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
February 3rd - Atlassian Williams F1 Team
The racing livery of the FW48, Williams’s challenger for the 2026 F1 season, will be revealed on February 3rd. Of note, this event will be just a livery reveal, as opposed to a car launch, and will be centered around the look of the car that Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz will be driving next year.
Notably, Williams intends to start the season off with a fan-designed livery. The chosen design was also selected by the team’s fans with over 55,000 votes being cast by people from162 countries around the world.
February 8th - Cadillac F1 Team
The 11th team on the grid and one of the two new constructors joining the fray this year, Cadillac will reveal their livery on February 8th. This event is set to be an advert aired during the halftime break of the Super Bowl at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Cadillac recently announced their driver line-up, consisting of F1 veterans, Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. The team is looking to their extensive experience in the sport to serve as a grounding foundation for Cadillac to build a successful F1 legacy on.
February 9th - Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team
With Adrian Newey at the helm as their new team principal, Aston Martin has announced that they will be launching their 2026 challenger, the AMR26, on February 9th. The announcement came in a social media post featuring a pencil drawing a graphic of the car name, which is likely a nod to the design and engineering background of Newey himself.
The AMR26 is the first car from Aston Martin that Newey will have had a direct role in designing as Managing Technical Partner throughout the 2025 season. It will be driven by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, who will be teammates for the fourth year in a row.
February 9th - McLaren Mastercard F1 Team
The reigning World Drivers’ and Constructors’ Champions, McLaren is also set to reveal their 2026 car on February 9th. The reveal will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit, where the two official testing sessions of the pre-season will take place, and will be broadcast online for fans across the world.
In attendance will be current Drivers’ Champion, Lando Norris, his teammate and fellow 2025 Championship contender, Oscar Piastri, as well as Team Principal Andrea Stella and CEO Zak Brown.
