Formula 1 returns to Madrid in style after 45 years. The next Spanish Grand Prix will run from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, with the brand new Madring circuit playing host. The circuit promises a fun-filled atmosphere for all attendees.
Read on to discover what you can expect at Madring’s six distinct Fan Zones. We’ll also reveal the most exciting events and concerts happening on and off the track.
On-Track
These are the confirmed, fan-focused entertainment and activities at this year’s Spanish GP in Madrid.
F1 Fan Zones
Your race ticket gives you access to the Fan Zone assigned to your grandstand or general admission area. In Madring, there are six Fan Zones in total:
- Distrito (the largest fan zone in Madring)
- Monumental
- Boulevard Cibeles
- Boulevard Sol
- Barrio
- La Milla
Each one will have live DJs, entertainment, and food and drink options such as Cañas y Tapas, a traditional Spanish dining and bar experience featuring beer and an extensive menu.

- Car showcases

Hospitality Area Entertainment
The Spanish GP in Madrid will feature eight hospitality venues. These areas offer prime viewing, dining, and exclusive entertainment outside the general Fan Zones.
Here’s a breakdown of what each hospitality area has in store for fans throughout the race weekend.
What to expect:
- El Mirador: DJs and live stage performances.
- La Azotea: DJs, appearances of motorsport personalities, and artist performances.
- Traction Club: Live jazz, fan activations, and live cooking.
- Club 91: Live music, F1 legend interviews, race simulators, and rooftop parties.
- Ignition Club: DJs, interviews with motorsport experts, and race simulators.
- Traction Suites: Live jazz, fan activations, live cooking, racing experiences, and the La Avenida social zone (where you can mingle, eat, drink, and enjoy additional activations)
- La Terminal: Racing simulators, a gaming zone, and live interviews with motorsport personalities.
- Podium Stand: Fan zone activations.
Off-Track
These are some of the best Grand Prix-related events and concerts happening outside of the Madring circuit.
Williams F1 Team Fan Zone
Lovers of the Williams F1 Team can see some of their favorite drivers and team personalities at the Plaza del Callao in Madrid. This Fan Zone will run from Monday, September 7 to Sunday, September 13.
Entry is free and the venue opens at 11:00 AM on weekdays and 10:00 AM on weekends.
What to expect:
- Williams F1 driver and team principal appearances: Carlos Sainz, Luke Browning, and James Vowles
- FW48 show car display
- Merchandise and team kits
- Trivia games and race simulators
- Spanish beer sampling
- Williams F1 trophy display
McLaren Mastercard F1 Team Pop-Up
Global payment company Mastercard has partnered with the McLaren F1 Team to bring interactive experiences to fans in Madrid. They’ll be launching a pop-up store from September 3 to September 12, 2026, which means you can visit before and during the Spanish GP race weekend.
The venue, La Vaguada Shopping Center, features a collection of Mastercard X McLaren merchandise available for purchase. Some of the items in the collection are exclusive to the store, meaning you can’t find them elsewhere. You can also use an AI-powered booth to create photos that reimagine you as a McLaren F1 driver.
Entry is free, and you may visit from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Spanish GP Official Concerts
In late 2025, Atletico Madrid, one of the most popular Spanish soccer clubs, entered an agreement with the GP organizer, IFEMA Madrid. The deal makes Atlético Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano the Spanish Grand Prix’s official concert venue.
From September 11 to 13, the stadium will feature live artist performances, activations, and other forms of F1-related entertainment. Acts have yet to be announced, so check back closer to the race for more details.
F1 Arcade Madrid: Watch Parties
The F1 Arcade in Madrid will be hosting watch parties come race weekend. Everyone at the venue gets to see the action on large screens. Also, there’ll be live DJs at the parties.
F1 Arcade Madrid is located at Paseo de la Castellana. Please note that you need to purchase a ticket to attend.
Hugo Racing Tour Madrid
Hugo continues to promote motorsports alongside its eyewear products by hosting racing tours in major cities. One of those cities is Madrid, where, from September 10 to 13, fans can enjoy a wide range of fun activities at Paseo de la Florida. Plus, it’s free!
What to expect:
- Racing simulators
- Virtual eyewear try-on
- DJ set (Saturday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM only)
- Photo booth
- Meet-and-greet featuring drivers (Thursday, September 10 only)
On the opening day (September 10), the tour starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM. But on every other day, it runs from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
