The Best Fan Zones and Events at the Canadian GP

Are you heading to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the infamous Canadian Grand Prix? Make sure you don’t miss out on these events, activities and fan zones happening all throughout the weekend!

We’re already at Round 10 of the 2025 Formula 1 season and the drivers and teams are headed to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix! Home to Aston Martin driver, Lance Stroll, this fan favorite event never disappoints and there are countless things to do over the course of the race weekend. 

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Thursday, June 12th to Sunday June, 15th, 2025.

The Canadian Grand Prix offers numerous fan zone activities for all race goers to participate in. Aside from the on track action, fans can experience tons of fun off the track as well!

F1 Fan Zone

The Canadian Grand Prix has one of the best fan zone experiences prepared for the 2025 race weekend. Located in the yellow zone behind Grandstand 34, there are numerous interactive events and activities for fans to take part in during the breaks between the on track action.

All of these activations are presented by F1 and its partners so it really is the best spot to immerse yourself in the excitement of the race weekend.

Fan Areas

Park  Zone

Located in the yellow zone, which is in the center of the island, fans can expect to see a plethora of activities presented by the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix partners.

  • Competitions and entertainment
  • Virtual simulators

Family Zone

Located in the red zone, right behind the Family Grandstand (grandstand 33), this area will be focused around activities meant for the whole family. There will be a play area, food and beverage options and activities suitable for all ages.

Heineken Terrace

Located in the red zone, right behind the Casino, this terrace will be the perfect relaxation area with seating during the day and parties in the evening. There are shaded areas as well as a large screen to watch the action on track. This is also where fans can find the live entertainment and watch the performances that will take place over the course of the race weekend.

Beach Zone

The Beach Zone is located in the pink zone, right behind the Senna stand. There will be a giant screen here for people to watch the races as well as numerous food and beverage options. Fans can also find official CGV stores here while listening to live entertainments and DJs. 

Accessible Paddocks

Over the course of the Canadian Grand Prix weekend, there will be two other support series, accompanying the F1 drivers out on track. Fans will be able to see the F1 Academy drivers take to the track for round 4 of their championship. Alongside the F1 Academy drivers, the Porsche Carrera Cup North America championship will also be competing at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. 

F1 Academy Paddocks

The F1 Academy paddocks are located in the Orange zone, right behind Grandstand 15. Here, fans will be able to get a glimpse at the teams working in the garages while having opportunities to mingle with the drivers and support teams. There will also be an autograph session with the F1 Academy drivers (Schedule TBD). 

Porsche Carrera Paddocks

The Porsche Carrera Paddocks are also located in the orange zone (behind Grandstand 15). This is accessible to all race weekend ticket holders, allowing fans to come and visit the Porsche Carrera Cup Teams’ paddocks. Just like the F1 Academy paddocks, fans will be able to get an inside look at the teams working in the garages and get a chance to see the drivers up close.

FANABOX Events

FANABOX, and official merchandise store selling racing apparel, signed memorabilia and licensed collectibles will be hosting two different events during the week leading up to the race. Visitors can expect to see Max Verstappen's RB19 showcar inside the store. Come to get an up close look at the Formula 1 car and have opportunities to take pictures with Verstappen's dominant Red Bull. On Thursday evening, before the race weekend kicks off, fans can come to the store to meet F1 Academy driver, Nicole Havrda! This is her first home race in Montreal and the Canadian driver will be up for chats and photos all evening long.

  • Tuesday, June 10th (12 - 5PM) - Max Verstappen's RB19 showcar on display
  • Thursday, June 12th (7:30PM) - Nicole Havrda visiting the store
