As the first half winds down, the F1 Fantasy Global League remains closer than ever before. Each decision in the final doubleheader before the summer break could gain or lose thousands of places. Kimi Antonelli's status as a locked-in 2X Boosted driver is under threat and his history at Spa complicates this decision even further. But first, the lowest scoring driver on the grid may actually grow into a top value pick in the second half of the season.
Asset Watch: Lance Stroll

Hear me out on this one. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll celebrated just their second double finish of the season at Silverstone but help is on the way. The team recently announced a comprehensive upgrade package for Hungary next weekend. Headlined by several weight reductions, a new nose, and "substantially revised" aerodynamic surfaces, this overhaul of the AMR26 could launch Aston Martin into midfield contention immediately.
Stroll reached the $3M F1 Fantasy price floor despite a 7-point performance at Silverstone and could enable the first wave of 4A lineups. If this upgrade improves performance and reliability, Stroll's upside deserves immediate attention. He retired just once across all of last season and received a second -20 penalty in Spain after he withdraw due to injury.
The Canadian turned heads with his strong wet weather performances in Australia and Miami in 2025, so only reliability stands between fantasy strategists a high-upside price floor driver. This upgrade package has the potential to trigger a seismic shift in the meta lineup coming out of the summer break.
Spa History

Fresh off his first victory of the 2026 campaign, Charles Leclerc heads to a circuit where he's finished exactly P3 in three straight seasons. Leclerc's wet weather success makes him a strong 2X Boost candidate if rain rolls in on Sunday. Ferrari continue to outperform expectations in recent weeks and betting lines predict a P4 result ahead of Free Practice.
The most popular 2X Boost pivot at Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton, scored a season-high 40 fantasy points across the 2025 Spa Sprint weekend. The 7-time World Champion gained 11 positions in the Grand Prix and earned Driver of the Day honors as he delivered a valiant P7 result. Hamilton looks to extend his streak of four straight podiums ahead of the summer break.
Kimi Antonelli endured his toughest weekend in Formula 1 in his Spa debut. Antonelli was eliminated in SQ1 and finished P17 in the Sprint, was knocked out in Q1, and finished the Grand Prix P16. The Italian sophomore last led all drivers in fantasy scoring in Monaco and his championship lead has dwindled down to 25 points. A Mercedes driver started on pole position from Monaco to Silverstone and Antonelli recorded the Fastest Lap in three of them, so he has the car to rewrite his Spa history this weekend.
Weather Outlook

The early forecast predicts rain for the most unusual microclimate on the calendar. Afternoon rain could impact Qualifying on Saturday, but the precipitation on Friday and Sunday is expected to end in the late morning.
No Negative makes plenty of sense if the rain shifts to Sunday afternoon, but last season, race control delayed the start of the Grand Prix by 80 minutes and lap 1 took place behind the Safety Car. Race directors often react with an abundance of caution at this historically dangerous circuit.
The Fantasy Formula is back to answer all of your questions ahead of the lineup lock deadline. The action begins one hour before the start of Qualifying, this Saturday at 9AM EST/2PM BST, only on the official FanAmp YouTube channel. See you there!
