Verstappen wins the sprint race in Spa ahead of Piastri | Belgian Grand Prix Sprint Race Results 2025

Oscar Piastri claimed pole position for the sprint race at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Max Verstappen and Lando Norris rounded out the top three with some notable mentions making it in to the top ten. Gabriel Bortoleto had a strong qualifying performance, putting his Sauber in P10 behind Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly. Both of the Haas drivers made it into the top ten with Esteban Ocon finishing in sprint qualifying in P5 and Ollie Bearman finishing in P7. See what happened in the sprint race:

• Pierre Gasly was able to join the sprint as the car was finished ahead of the start time
• Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris were fighting each other early on with Leclerc taking the position from Norris, but Norris claiming it back a couple laps later
• Verstappen closed back in on Piastri, claiming the lead in the final three laps of the sprint race
• Ma Verstappen claimed the sprint race ahead of Oscar Piastri despite Piastri starting on pole
