How to Watch F1 in 2026 - Where American, UK and Canadian Audiences Can Catch All the On-Track Action

The 2026 Formula 1 season is just weeks away, and if you’re wondering how you can make sure not to miss any of the races, sessions or coverage, we’re got the ultimate guide for you. Below is a breakdown of how fans in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada can watch the entirety of the 2026 F1 season.

United States - F1TV via Apple TV

Previously, F1 was televised in the United States via ESPN, and with F1TV subscriptions also being available. In the fall 2025, however, it was announced that F1 coverage would be moving exclusively to Apple TV. This means that Sky Sports coverage of F1, which was previously accessible through ESPN, is no longer available in the United States.

US audiences will now be able to watch all 24 Grands Prix and six Sprints, as well as every Free Practice and Qualifying session on next year’s race calendar via an Apple TV subscription. This encompasses the full F1TV feed, and commentary, analysis and exclusive interviews from the F1TV team, which includes Alex Jacques, Jolyon Palmer, Ruth Buscome, James Hinchcliffe and more.

Those who already have an Apple TV subscription will have direct access to F1TV Premium content–including live 4K coverage, custom multi-feed views, and access to live on-board cameras and radios and more–without any additional fees or subscriptions.

How do you watch F1 in the U.S. without subscribing to Apple TV? Friday and Saturday Free Practices as well as select races during the season will be freely available to all through Apple TV, regardless of whether you have a subscription or not. All you need is an Apple account.

United Kingdom - Sky Sports TV, Now TV, Channel 4

Sky Sports F1 is the UK’s ultimate resource for watching F1. It includes full coverage of the entire race calendar, including all Grands Prix, Sprints, and Practice and Qualifying sessions, with commentary, analysis and exclusive interviews by industry experts including but not limited to David Croft, Harry Benjamin, Bernie Collins, and Karun Chandhok.

UK fans have several options for viewing Sky’s coverage of F1. This includes direct subscription to various Sky TV subscription packages, such as the Sky Sports package which covers the full array of the broadcaster’s sports channels. Now TV also offers access to Sky’s sporting coverage, including F1, with single-day and monthly subscription options.

Fans can also catch highlights from every Qualifying and Grand Prix, plus full coverage of the British Grand Prix for free on Channel 4.

Sky Sports has exclusive broadcasting rights for F1 within the UK, meaning that F1TV’s live race coverage is unavailable for UK audiences.

Canada - F1TV, TSN and RDS

Canada offers the best of both worlds, with both F1TV and Sky Sports coverage through various service providers in the country.

F1TV continues to be offered in Canada, with F1TV Access, F1TV Pro and F1TV Premium, each of which offer different levels of coverage, all available on yearly subscription plans. F1TV Pro, for example, includes ad-free streaming of all F1 sessions, live and on demand, live onboard camera and team radios, and live access to supporting series such as F2, F3, F1 Academy, in addition to other exclusive content. F1TV Premium adds 4K streaming on up to six devices and includes Multiview options in addition to all of the Pro inclusions.

Sky Sports coverage of F1 is also available in Canada through TSN. This includes select Practice sessions and all Qualifying, Sprints and Grands Prix on the race calendar, as well as pre- and post-race shows.

French-Canadian audiences can also enjoy French coverage of the sport via RDS. Both RDS and TSN require subscriptions to cable service providers with the respective channels offered in their repertoire.
