The 2026 Formula 1 season is just a few months away, and while all 24 races on the calendar promise to bring us excitement, speed and drama, not all of them are priced equally.
So which F1 races are the cheapest and which are the most expensive? What part of the F1 season has the best prices? And which races give you the most flexibility with a variety of pricing options?
We dug into the data to answer these questions for you!
How much does a three-day F1 grandstand ticket cost in 2026?
The answer: it depends.
Some races offer relatively cheap grandstand tickets (and we’ll get to that soon!), but generally speaking, if you have about $600 to spend you can afford a grandstand at any of the 24 races on the 2026 F1 schedule.

The cheapest F1 races in 2026
From the data that we gathered, the three least expensive F1 races to attend in 2026 are the Chinese Grand Prix, Brazilian Grand Prix, and the Japanese Grand Prix. For as low as ~$67 you could find yourself in Grandstands C, F or J at the Shanghai Circuit, or for less than $20 more you could be sitting in Sector G along the Reta Oposta, the longest straight of the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo.
The three cheapest F1 grandstands (three-day pass) are:
- Chinese GP - starting at: $67.20; median price: $207.20; highest price: $543.20
- Brazilian GP - starting at: $83.70; median price: $156.15; highest price: $402.98
- Japanese GP - starting at: $145.20; median price: $277.20; highest price: $693.00
If you are looking to save a bit of money on tickets, races earlier in the season generally have cheaper grandstands compared to races towards the end of the year. Though this is more of a trend than a rule, as shown by pricier races in the first half of the year, like the Monaco and Miami Grands Prix, and less expensive races that come later in the season, like the Brazilian and even Qatar Grands Prix. That is to say, lower-priced tickets can be found year-round, but you definitely have more options within the first handful of races, so keep that in mind when planning your next F1 adventure.

The most expensive F1 races in 2026
Unsurprisingly, the most expensive race to attend in 2026 is the Monaco Grand Prix, with grandstand prices starting at nearly $1,100 and capping out at a whopping $2,082.60 for Gold-tier grandstand tickets. The Las Vegas and United States Grands Prix also pack a punch to the wallet, with the most expensive grandstands setting you back $1,985.33 and $1,979.50 respectively.
The three most expensive F1 grandstands (three-day pass) are:
- Monaco GP - starting at: $1,079.33; median price: $1556.10; highest price: $2,082.60
- Las Vegas GP - starting at: $918.76; median price: $1,367.84; highest price: $1,985.33
- United States GP - starting at: $429.00; median price: $949.50; highest price: $1,979.50
These price points are perhaps not surprising, given the glitz, glam and festivities that often come hand in hand with these particular races. The United States GP, for example, is known for the concerts that are hosted during race weekends, featuring world-class musicians performing every year, such as Kygo, Garth Brooks and the Turnpike Troubadours in 2025.
Races with the most flexible prices
Of the above three, Austin does, notably, offer the most flexibility when it comes to its pricing options, having the lowest minimum price of the three by far, making it at least a bit more accessible from a budgeting standpoint.

Other races that offer a wide range of ticket prices include the Italian, Mexican and Canadian Grands Prix. Italy and Mexico both have starting prices under $300 ($245.70 for Italy, and $210.60 for Mexico), while Canada starts just over that at $312.40. With their broad scope of ticketing options at various price points, these are the races that can accommodate both those with tighter budgets and those with a bit more spending money at hand.
The most flexible F1 grandstands:
- Italian GP - starting at: $245.70; median price: $603.72; highest price: $1,404.00
- Mexican GP - starting at: $210.60; median price: $729.00; highest price: $1,782.00
- Canadian GP - starting at: $312.40; median price: $649.65; highest price: $1,359.65
Our methodology
We looked at the price of all three-day (Friday to Sunday) passes available for every grandstand at each race on the 2026 F1 calendar. Wherever possible, we used the 2026 prices listed on individual circuit websites. For races that haven’t posted 2026 prices or are still upcoming this year, we used the 2025 ticket prices instead.
Prices were recorded in full from the circuit website directly for all races except:
Great Britain: 2026 prices partially obtained from f1destinations.com/
Miami: 2026 prices obtained from www.nbcmiami.com
Mexico: 2025 prices partially obtained from f1destinations.com/
Abu Dhabi: Partial data based on listings available from the circuit website on Oct 16, 2025.
Ticket prices were recorded in local currency, and converted to USD using the Oct 16th, 2025 exchange rate as listed on Google. Some grands prix are subject to dynamic pricing, and current prices may differ from those used in the above dataset.
