The Best Fan Zones and Events at the British GP

Are you heading to the infamous Silverstone Circuit for the British Grand Prix? Make sure you don’t miss out on these events, activities and fan zones happening all throughout the weekend!

The British Grand Prix is a race that fans look forward to all season long. For Round 12 of the 2025 Formula 1 season, the drivers and teams are heading back to the iconic Silverstone Circuit where they will drive Copse Corner at high speeds, race down Maggots and Becketts while resisting the insane G-Forces, and come racing across the finish line to take the checkered flag first. Despite the incredible on-track action, there is also a variety of off-track action for all the fans to enjoy throughout the duration of the Grand Prix weekend. 

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Thursday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 6th, 2025. 

The British Grand Prix offers numerous fan zone activities for all race goers to participate in. Aside from the on track action, fans can experience tons of fun off the track as well!

F1 Fan Zones

The British Grand Prix has one of the best fan zone experiences prepared for the 2025 race weekend. Located across the circuit, fans will be able to find interactive activities to keep them entertained throughout the breaks of the on-track action. 

There are eight different areas for fans to explore throughout the duration of the Grand Prix. Each zone will have a variety of different activities and amenities to enhance the experience for all race goers. 

F1 Fan Zone

All of these activations are presented by F1 and its partners so it really is the best spot to immerse yourself in the excitement of the race weekend.

Food Zone

You’ll never have to worry about going hungry at the Silverstone Circuit. With over 250 places to choose from, fans can test over nearly 90 different cuisines from all over the world. There are options that cater to every dietary need all while ensuring fans are fuelled up for the action packed weekend. 

Sports Zone

If you’re feeling like you have some energy to burn, this is definitely the place for you. Located in the Sports Zone is a climbing wall, encouraging fans to test their strength and agility. There are team games such as table football, air hockey, billiards and table tennis that can be played with family, friends, or other avid race goers met throughout the weekend.

There will also be a variety of live performances by different artists all throughout the Grand Prix weekend. 

Fun Zone

The fun zone should be what the Silverstone Circuit is coined considering every aspect of this track is fun! But the actual ‘Fun Zone’ is where race goers can test their skills in Crazy Golf as well as other virtual reality technology games. Located in the Fun Zone is the Murray Walker Memorial which pays tribute to the popular motorsports commentator. This memorial was created in 2021 and is a great way for fans to connect with the sport on a deeper level and pay their respects to someone who was so integral to the industry. 

Family Zone

With activities for all age demographics, the family zone is where people can come to experience interactive and immersive games, activities and crafts. There are interactive workshops that are educational and fun. The Kiddimoto challenge tests your balance and coordination while the craft area allows fans to paint their own ceramic masterpieces.

There are live performances from the SuperPirate Theatre who will be sure to keep the whole family entertained.

Street Zone

The street zone will be crawling with live entertainment from Friday to Sunday. Fans can expect to find buskers, stilt walkers, magicians, and bubblers. There will also be British Army vehicles on display alongside a variety of activities for fans to take part in. 

Interactive Museum

The interactive Silverstone Museum provides fans with a closer look at the rich history of British Motorsports while also encouraging them to look ahead to the future of motorsports at the Silverstone Circuit.

With Silverstone being such an iconic circuit within Formula 1 and motorsports in general, fans will be able to learn stories from the most legendary drivers, take a look at historical race cars and be immersed in the excitement of the race weekend. 

Williams Racing Fan Zone

The Atlassian Williams Racing Fan Zone is one of the favorite Grand Prix weekend activities for all race goers. There are a variety of immersive activities for fans to take part in, but the best part is the guest appearances! Fans can expect to hear from Jenson Button, James, Vowles, Alex Albon and more!

This is the fourth Fan Zone that Williams is hosting, with only two more for the rest of the season with one in Singapore and the final one in Austin. Fans have the opportunity to win prizes, get exclusive merchandise, see the FW47 show car up close and, of course, hear from some of Williams’ most important personalities.

+44 Pop Up

+44, Lewis Hamilton’s clothing brand, has announced that they will be doing a pop up in honor of the British Grand Prix. The pop up will be open from Thursday July 3rd to Sunday July 6th. Fans can expect exclusive merchandise, and view the new Silverstone ‘25 collection that has just recently dropped.

The event will take place outside the Silverstone circuit and fans DO NOT need a race ticket to get access to the pop up.

Concerts

The British Grand Prix is known to have some of the best concert lineups for the race weekend. In previous years, the main stage has seen artists like Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, the Black Eyed Peas and Stormzy perform. There are three different stages where fans can engage with the live performers from the weekend.

Over the course of the weekend, fans can find live entertainment at all three of the stages. Keep in mind that the main stage is where the headliner performances will take place.
