Red Bull and VCARB announce driver lineup

Red Bull and VCARB have officially announced their driver lineup for the 2026 Formula 1 season. Isack Hadjar will  become Max Verstappen's new Red Bull teammate, replacing Yuki Tsunoda, while Arvid Lindblad joins Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls.

What happened on the first day of NASCAR’s trial

The trial between 23XI Racing, Front Row Motorsports, and NASCAR started with jury selection and testimony from co-owner Denny Hamlin. The teams said NASCAR used its power to give them bad charter deals, lower their earnings, and limit competition. NASCAR said the teams only complained after they did not get the terms they wanted and that the charter system followed the rules since 2016. Hamlin explained the costs and challenges of 23XI Racing and said Michael Jordan’s support helps the team stay profitable.

Mercedes celebrates Pin’s F1 Academy title win

Mercedes put up a big display at its Brackley base to honour Doriane Pin after her F1 Academy title, and she saw it for the first time when the team gave her loud praise. She won the title in Las Vegas with 172 points and spoke about how proud she felt. Pin thanked Mercedes and Prema for their help in her rise. Toto Wolff praised her strong year, and Pin said she hopes to stay with Mercedes as she plans her next step.

Darren Leung returns to WEC lineup

Darren Leung will return to Team WRT’s LMGT3 team in the FIA World Endurance Championship after a year at United Autosports. He has won two LMGT3 races and will drive a BMW GT3 car. Anthony McIntosh and Parker Thompson will join WRT, and Dan Harper will also race for them in WEC and the Asian Le Mans Series. WRT has changed its LMGT3 team, Yasser Shahin, Ahmad Al Harthy, and probably Valentino Rossi are out.

Leonardo Fornaroli joins McLaren academy

Leonardo Fornaroli joins McLaren’s driver academy for 2026 after F3 and F2 titles. Richard Verschoor and Christian Costoya also join the team with skill and new talent. The academy prepares drivers for McLaren’s F1 team, IndyCar, and World Endurance Championship. McLaren wants a strong pipeline of drivers ready for top level races.
