Piastri’s clash with Norris splits opinion
Oscar Piastri was upset with Lando Norris and his team after Norris bumped him at the start of the Singapore race. Many people say Norris acted fairly and Piastri was just angry because of the heat of the moment. Some think Piastri is stressed from the championship and wasn’t as calm as usual. Most agree that now the team has won the big prize, both drivers should expect tough battles and focus on their best.

IndyCar gets $11M boost from Penske
Roger Penske’s IndyCar team announced a $11 million boost to the Leaders Circle program in 2026, with each team now set to receive $1.7 million instead of $1.16 million. The program supports the top 22 teams, but until now it only covered a small part of yearly costs. This change comes after FOX took a 33% stake in IndyCar and TV ratings saw a major jump, especially among younger viewers. It’s a step forward, but IndyCar teams still earn far less than those in NASCAR or Formula 1, so bigger problems remain.

Kimi Antonelli impressed Mercedes with strong speed, and Franco Colapinto beat his teammate in one of the slowest cars on the grid.

Kyle Busch had a bad race after early damage, Riley Herbst was disqualified for his car being too light, and Austin Cindric’s season stopped after he came 36th.

Weug cleared of pit entry violation
Waya Weug claimed victory in the second F1 Academy race in Singapore after overtaking Doriane Pin during a dramatic final lap affected by rain and a safety car. Controversy followed when she was accused of crossing the pit entry line while her team considered a tyre change. After reviewing footage and event notes, stewards ruled that Weug never reached the official pit entry point and had stayed within track limits. Her win stayed, and she is now only nine points behind Pin going into the Las Vegas finale.
