After a short period with McLaren, Estre joined Porsche as a factory driver in 2016. Since then, he has become one of the top endurance drivers in the world. Kévin Estre’s age, family and early life

Kévin Estre was born in October 1988 in Lyon to Jean-Claude Estre. Motorsport was already a major part of the family, as both his father and grandfather were involved in racing and karting. Estre started karting at four years old and quickly developed a passion for racing.

After karting, he moved into single-seater competition before later focusing on GT and endurance racing. Before becoming a full-time driver, Estre also worked within his family’s racing team in different roles, including mechanic and crew member. Those experiences helped him understand the technical side of motorsport from a young age.
