Formula 1 is back in Montreal for the iconic Canadian Grand Prix. It’s round 5 of the 2026 F1 season and the drivers and teams are headed out to the only Canadian race on the calendar.
The race weekend will run from Thursday May 21st to Sunday May 24th, 2026.
The Canadian Grand Prix has always been a fan favorite as it is home to some of the most iconic moments in racing. Named after the Canadian F1 legend, Gilles Villeneuve, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is located on Montreal’s Notre-Dame Island within Parc Jean-Drapeau.
Despite the race being located on Notre-Dame Island, the festivities for the race weekend are extensive and carry on throughout the entire city. Stay tuned for the best fan zones, events, activations and performances that are lined up for the Canadian Grand Prix.
ON TRACK
F1 Fan Zone
The Canadian Grand Prix has a variety of fan zones and events located all throughout Notre-Dame Island throughout the duration of the race weekend. The main F1 fan zone will be located at the centre of the island, situated behind Grandstand 34 in the Park Zone.

- Food and Beverage options
Besides the main F1 fan zone at Grandstand 34, fans can expect to find two other fan zones that will be host to a variety of different activities and pop-ups.
Family Zone
The Family Zone is located close to the Family Grandstand and has a variety of activations and events suited for all ages. This area is ideal for enjoying the breaks between the on-track action and is the perfect spot to enjoy food and beverage options as well.
Park and Cosmos Zone
The Park and Cosmos zones are located along Cosmos Alley where fans can expect official merchandise booths, food and beverage options and a variety of pop-up stands and activations.
Concerts
The Canadian Grand Prix always has an impeccable concert lineup. Each year, popular artists, DJs and performers take to the stage and provide entertainment for the race goers. This tops off the on-track action and continues to set Canada apart as one of the fan-favorite races on the Formula 1 calendar.

It is very important to keep in mind that unlike many other Formula 1 race weekends, access to the concerts is not included with the purchase of a race ticket. If fans are interested in purchasing concert tickets, they will need to do so separately.
OFF TRACK
Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival
One of the best F1 activities during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend is the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival. Each year, Crescent Street turns into a lively fan zone that is home to a variety of activations, pop-ups, merchandise booths, food and beverage options and more. The best part about this festival? It's completely free to attend! The festival will be live from May 21st to May 24th and run from 11AM to 11PM.
