Lawrence Barretto's Las Vegas Burger Tour

The FanAmp Team and Fantasy Formula hopped on a call with Lawrence Barretto to chat all things F1 Fantasy at the Las Vegas Grand Prix! BUT as a man passionate about food, Lawrence dropped a list of his MUST try burgers in Vegas!

"I get to travel the world doing the coolest job in the world, so I thought it would be quite a cool thing to just try and do something a little bit different. And so I've been searching out the best burger." - Lawrence Barretto

Burger connoisseurs listen up! Lawrence Barretto is throwing his hat in the ring! He has created a new tradition for himself to try a TOP burger restaurant in every race city. After some very extensive research, Lawrence has decided that these are burgers that he MUST TRY in Las Vegas! So, while you're in town for F1 Las Vegas - snag a reservation (or 5) for these exciting spots - you may just catch Lawrence there as well!

Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas

Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas

Location: Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino

Hours: 10 AM - 1 AM

Reservations

Admittedly out of this list, this is the only burger that Lawrence HAS had... and we don't blame him. AND the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix (2023) was Lawrence's first time in Vegas. Gordon Ramsay and his revered restaurants need no introduction. This burger iteration of Gordon Ramsay's cooking skills was opened in 2012 in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino and has remained one of the BEST and probably... most expensive... burger spots on the Strip. Regardless of the cost, every bite of Gordon Ramsay's food is WORTH IT. You can grab 'high-end' burgers, hot dogs, and drinks for an elevated yet familiar lunch or dinner.

Want more Gordon Ramsay? He's hosting an experience in the paddock during the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend this year!

Cheeseburger at Bavette's

Bavette's Steakhouse and Bar

Location: Park MGM Las Vegas

Hours: 5 PM - 11 PM

Reservations

Lawrence has expensive taste! Bavette's is a Chicago "classic" that has now opened their doors in Las Vegas! Known for their high-quality cuts of meat from steak to seafood and other French classics. BUT we're here for the burger!

10oz Double Wagyu Cheeseburger. That's the burger you'll be purchasing at Bavette's - and what Lawrence wants to try ASAP. If you're planning a trip to Bavette's, though make sure that you have a reservation!

Smoke & Fire's BBQ Burger

Smoke & Fire

Location: 3315 E Russell Rd suite a-5, Las Vegas, NV 89120

Hours: 11 AM - 9 PM

This burger spot may be off the Strip, but the culinary quality is still a 10/10. In my research about Smoke & Fire, I quickly learned how this spot made it onto Lawrence's list - it is Keith Lee approved!

Smoke & Fire is known for their ingenious burger creations from all over the world - from the Birria Burger, to the Blueberry Chicken Burger, to a PB&J Burger, and of course their BBQ Burger. This restaurant is great for families who want to have a quieter meal off the strip and enjoy some incredible burgers!

In-n-Out

Location: Everywhere in Las Vegas, including several on the Strip

Hours: Vary

As an American - specifically one who grew up in Las Vegas - I understand why this is on Lawrence's list. It doesn't get any better (in the fast food world) than a double, double animal style. BUT if you're not aware of In n Out and their burger offerings - let me explain!

In n Out is a fast food chain with standard burgers and cheeseburgers, but where they separate themselves from the rest is their 'animal style' burgers. The burger patty fried in mustard, grilled onions, pickles, and extra Thousand Island spread on a toasted bun. This is a must-try staple for anyone who has not been to this chain, yet. Call it a rite of passage!

FukuBurger

FukuBurger

Location: Chinatown primarily (just North of the Strip), BUT it's a food truck and moves!

Hours: 11:30 AM - 1 AM on Weekends in Chinatown

Switching it up to a tiny but mighty burger operation - a FOOD TRUCK! This food truck has a story - centered around building community and combining the All-American Burger with Japanese flavors. The menu is ever-changing but the service and affordable price has remained the same regardless of the community or event that they are serving. They are even considered one of the Best Burgers in Las Vegas (yes, there's a title for that)!

A great find by Lawrence because I intend on trying these burgers immediately!

Thank you Lawrence for this great list of restaurants in Las Vegas! AND stay tuned for the Fantasy Formula Episode with Lawrence, dropping next week!
