The Best Events and Fan Zones at the Spanish Grand Prix

Are you heading to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the infamous Spanish Grand Prix? Make sure you don’t miss out on these events, activities and fan zones happening all throughout the weekend!

It is round 9 of the 2025 Formula 1 season and the drivers are down in Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix. Home to drivers, Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso, this is an iconic circuit, but this is the last year it is on the Formula 1 calendar for the foreseeable future. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is getting replaced by a street circuit in Madrid in 2026.

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Thursday, May 29th to Sunday June, 1st, 2025.

The Spanish Grand Prix offers numerous fan zone activities for all race goers to participate in. Aside from the on track action, fans can experience tons of fun off the track as well!

F1 Fan Village

The Spanish Grand Prix has one of the best fan zone experiences prepared for the 2025 race weekend. Located behind the Main Grandstand, there are numerous interactive events and activities for fans to take part in during the breaks between the on track action.

Fans have the opportunity to see their favorite drivers and teams to take to the stage and talk about their season thus far. There are a variety of activities, displays, performances and more to entertain the guests and attendees of the race. One of the most exciting parts of the Fan Zone is that there are confirmed driver appearances where visitors will be able to hear their favorite teams and drivers chat about their season and the race weekend ahead.

F1 Fan Zone Areas

Green Zone

As the name suggests, the Green Zone will be focused on Formula 1’s sustainability efforts. Visitors in the Green Zone will be able to see a full sized single-seater car which will be turned into a canvas for artist ‘Pilat’ who is a Danish illustrator. The Green zone is located in the area of the Crater Forest. 

Kids Zone

Also located in the Crater Forest is the Kids Zone. Here, children will be able to take part in different interactive activities and workshops. Here are some of the things that can be expected in the Kids Zone:

  • Bubble workshops
  • Handmade crowns
  • Personalized bags
  • Trampolines
  • Wooden games

Pelouse Jove

Located at Turn 4, the Pelouse Jove area is sponsored by Santander. Here, fans can expect a giant screen where they can follow the on track action, while also enjoying live performances by various artists. 

Orange Zone

The Orange Zone will host Dutch DJ, Admin Rick Jansen, who will be entertaining guests the entire weekend.

Williams Fan Zone

Williams will be hosting their second Fan Zone event of the 2025 Formula 1 season at the Miami Grand Prix. These Fan Zones have become a staple event where fans are able to interact with the drivers and team personnel, purchase official merchandise, have a chance to win prizes, and immerse themselves in the interactive activities offered. The Fan Zone will be open all week long, allowing race attendees or other visitors to make the most out of the Miami Grand Prix weekend.

Thursday, May 29th:

  • James Vowles (18:00)
