This year, the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend format will be different in comparison to previous years. The race weekend will run from Thursday to Saturday (February 29th - March 2nd) to accommodate the start of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

Along with the Formula 1 race weekend, Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East will also be competing at the Bahrain International Circuit.

This year, Diplo has been announced as the trackside performer on the Saturday of the Grand Prix weekend.
Last year, DJ Snake and Craig David took to the stage for an exciting performance. In previous years, the concerts normally started at roughly 9:30 pm and went until about 11:30 pm.
The concerts are held on the Friday and Saturday nights, usually at the big stage in the Fan Zone which is located behind the Main Grandstand.
Although the race weekend is usually jam packed with events, there is a designated ‘Fan Zone’ at the circuit. Located right behind the Main grandstand, this is the best place for race goers to seek out food, refreshments, merchandise, and lastly, entertainment.
Bahrain has organized numerous activities and entertainment acts for all ages ranging from comedians to circus performers. The Fan Zone is where attendees can expect merchandise stands, food and drink options and lastly, it is where the concert stage is located. In previous years, Bahrain has had driver appearances on the Thursday or Friday of the race weekend. Although nothing has been announced yet, fans can expect the appearances to take place on the main grandstand.
The Pit Lane Walk is another exciting experience that three-day ticket holders have to look forward to. This usually takes place on the Wednesday before the race weekend.
