Susie Wolff’s legal case against the FIA is still active after a brief 2023 investigation into her and her husband Toto Wolff for a possible conflict of interest. The FIA ended the case quickly, but Susie later filed a criminal complaint in France because it damaged her reputation. She believes the FIA hasn’t been open or taken responsibility. Wolff also felt the drama around Christian Horner took attention away from the progress of the F1 Academy.

Mick Schumacher considers IndyCar switch
Mick Schumacher tested an IndyCar at Indianapolis as he thinks about what to do next in his career. After time in Formula 1 and success in endurance events, IndyCar is now a real option for him. He liked the car and the tracks, and said IndyCar puts a lot of trust in the driver. Schumacher hasn’t decided yet, but says he wants to enjoy whatever he chooses to do next.

Julia Gross joins Artemis for 2026 SailGP
Swedish sailor Julia Gross has joined the new Artemis SailGP Team as a strategist for their first season in 2026. She worked before with Red Bull Italy and also led the Swedish team in the Women’s America’s Cup. Gross is the first Swedish athlete to join Artemis and said it feels like home, since she began her career with them. The team, led by Nathan Outteridge, will race for Sweden in the 2026 SailGP season held in Perth, Australia.

McLaren partners with Iron Mountain
McLaren has joined with Iron Mountain to turn its history into digital form with AI. This will help protect and share McLaren’s old photos, videos, and designs with fans everywhere. Iron Mountain will also help manage McLaren’s computer systems safely. The partnership starts at the 2025 U.S. Grand Prix with Iron Mountain’s logo on McLaren’s F1 cars.

Neel Jani joins DKR for ELMS finale
Neel Jani returns to the European Le Mans Series for the Portimao final with DKR Engineering, as Felipe Fraga has other commitments. This is Jani’s first time back since 2023 and his first time in the Pro-Am group. The team has had a tough season, and Jani hopes to help them finish strong. Only two driver changes were made since the last race.
