Williams 2002 throwback livery debuts at US GP
Williams will use a 2002-style car design at the US Grand Prix to celebrate its partnership with Atlassian. Carlos Sainz, Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes, and former driver Juan Pablo Montoya showed off the design. The blue and white colors honor teamwork, innovation, and hard work shared by both Williams and Atlassian. Montoya and Sainz said the throwback celebrates Williams’ past and its goal to succeed in the future.

NASCAR spotter fired over Dillon-Byron crash
At the Las Vegas NASCAR race, William Byron crashed into Ty Dillon, who was near the pits. A few days later, Ty Dillon’s spotter, Joe White, was fired at Talladega, even though he was already set for a different job next year. Frank Deiny will now be Dillon’s spotter. White shared the news on social media, and Mark Martin said being fired before a race is tough but can turn out okay in the end.

Juncos Hollinger signs VeeKay for 2026
Dutch driver Rinus VeeKay has signed with Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2026 IndyCar season. He is 25 years old and raced with Dale Coyne Racing in 2025 after five years with Ed Carpenter Racing. VeeKay has one win, five podiums, and two pole positions in 97 IndyCar races, and he finished 14th in the 2025 standings with a second-place finish in Toronto. This is a reunion with Juncos, the team he raced for earlier in his career, and both sides believe they can do great things together.

McLaren unveils new Google-inspired livery
McLaren and Google have revealed a new Gemini-themed car design for the U.S. and Mexico City Grand Prix races. The car keeps McLaren’s orange color but now has shiny white details inspired by Google’s AI, Gemini. Drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will also wear suits and boots with the same design. It’s another creative partnership between McLaren and Google in F1.

Hughes impresses in first IndyCar test
Lochie Hughes drove an IndyCar for the first time with Andretti Global and found it much harder than his Indy NXT car. He needs to get stronger to handle the heavier, faster car. He did about 100 laps and improved as the day went on. Hughes is sure he will race in IndyCar and wants to win the 2026 Indy NXT championship first.
