The vibrant city of Baku will host another spectacular Formula 1 race weekend from September 24-26, 2026, though the festivities start even sooner. Whether you’ll be at the track to witness one of the most chaotic F1 racing experiences of the year, or you just want to catch the excitement (or keep it going) by enjoying the many Baku City Circuit off-track events and activations, this is the guide for you.
This guide covers the various fan zones, concerts, and entertainment options available on- and off-track for the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
On-Track
Here’s what you can expect at the Baku F1 circuit when the race weekend arrives.
Fan Zones
Baku City Circuit has three main fan zones located along Seafront Boulevard (AKA Baku Boulevard): F1 Fan Zone, Concert Area, and Games Park. Each entertainment area offers its own set of unique activities.
F1 Fan Zone
The F1 Fan Zone in Baku is the home of F1 fan activations, installations, fun activities, and other forms of entertainment during the Grand Prix. Your race ticket gets you access to this zone.
Expect Formula 1 drivers to make appearances at the Fan Zone. We’ll update this page with their timeslots when the full 2026 schedule is announced. Don’t forget to check back!
Last year, the Fan Zone hosted the F1 Fan Forum in Baku. Here’s what fans could do:
- Listen to drivers talk about the race and answer questions on stage
- See the drivers up close
- Get autographs
- Take photos
Concert Area
This is the best place to enjoy live music near the track. It’s an open-air venue featuring live performances from talented artists.
Games Park
This section of the entertainment area offers interactive activities for attendees of the Baku race weekend.
Pit Lane Walk
All grandstand ticket holders and qualifying hospitality ticket holders can kick off the race weekend in style by attending the Pit Lane Walk. It’s set for Wednesday, September 23, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The Pit Lane Walk offers you a chance to walk along the pit lane and see teams in their garages preparing for the race weekend to begin.
Race Day Entertainment
Here’s a list of other confirmed activities for the Grand Prix on Saturday, September 26:
- Drivers’ presentation: 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM
- Pre-race DJ performance: 2:46 PM - 2:53 PM
- Podium ceremony: 5:00 PM
Off-Track
Some official and third-party events will be happening outside of the circuit.
Azerbaijan GP Official Concerts
F1 Baku will host its official concerts about four miles away from the circuit at the Baku Crystal Hall.
Popular DJ-producer Calvin Harris will perform on Thursday, September 24, at 8:00 PM. The iconic Katy Perry is set to grace the stage on Friday, September 25, at 8:00 PM.
Only grandstand and hospitality tickets come with concert access. However, anyone can purchase concert tickets separately on iTicket.az. Check your existing ticket to see if it comes with concert access.
APEX After Dark
APEX After Dark is arguably the best nightlife experience outside the circuit. It will take place at FOMO Baku, a popular night club located less than five miles from the race track.
Several artists will be performing during the race weekend:
- ANOTR: Thursday, from 5:00 PM
- Jamie Jones: Friday, from 6:00 PM
- Mahmut Orhan: Saturday, from 6:00 PM
You’ll need to be 18 or over and purchase a ticket to attend the open-air event at iTicket.az.
Race Weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel
Four Seasons Hotel Baku is one of the top accommodations near the circuit. It will celebrate the 10th edition of the F1 in Baku by offering guests exciting activities beyond the track.
What to expect:
- Signature brunches
- Afterparties
- Fine dining
- Special race-week cocktails
- Wellness experiences at Jaleh Spa
