Formula 1 returns to the Baku City Circuit for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. If you’re planning to attend, you need to know what you can and can’t bring to the track.
We created this guide covering bag rules, allowed items, prohibited items, and race-day essentials to help you enter the track seamlessly.
Azerbaijan F1 Circuit’s Bag Policy
The Baku City Circuit rules state that you can’t bring a bag that would not comfortably fit under a seat.
That bag policy is similar to the rule of thumb recommended for F1 races in general. So, you should be fine with a small bag, backpack, or handbag. Read our general F1 bag policy article for an idea of what’s typically allowed when it comes to sizes.

There are no storage facilities for bags at the venue, so be mindful of what you bring.
Please remember that security can search any bag. If you have a prohibited item on you, it may be removed and seized at the entrance. Security also reserves the right to refuse your entry or remove you from the venue if you’re caught with a prohibited item.
