The Bahrain Grand Prix is taking place in Malaysia from October 2-4, 2026, bringing Formula 1 back to Sepang for the first time since 2017. There are plenty of on-track and off-track events planned for F1 fans throughout race weekend.
Here’s what fans can expect from the Fan Zone, concerts, and other race-weekend events.
On-Track
These are the entertainment activities lined up for fans at Sepang International Circuit.
F1 Fan Zone
There will be a Fan Zone during the upcoming race weekend, and it will be open to all valid race ticket holders.
Organizers have not yet confirmed the exact location or schedule for the 2026 F1 Fan Zone. However, the Mall Area hosted fan activities and driver appearances in 2017 during the last Grand Prix at the circuit.

Bahrain GP Official Concerts
The Sepang International Circuit will host two main concerts during the race weekend. Grammy-nominated DJ Axwell will perform on Saturday, October 3, followed by a post-race concert headlined by Dutch DJ Martin Garrix on Sunday, October 4.
Eligible race ticket holders can attend by purchasing concert upgrades at the Bahrain GP website. You’ll need a separate ticket upgrade for each concert: $50 per person for Axwell and $100 per person for Martin Garrix.
Off-Track
The fun continues beyond the circuit, with plenty of F1-related activities happening around the city throughout race weekend. Check them out!
Disney x Formula 1 at MINISO Malaysia: Mickey Speed Life Collection
From September 18 to October 4, motorsports fans can visit select MINISO stores in Malaysia to see a merchandise collection that blends the Disney and Formula 1 franchises. The launch features racing-inspired designs, including the Mickey Speed Life Vinyl Plush Pendant, which is the highlight of the collection. This is one for both adults and kids.
Kuala Lumpur Race Weekend at W Kuala Lumpur
The W Kuala Lumpur hotel will be hosting three days of DJs, parties, food, and race-weekend celebrations at its rooftop bar, WET Deck. Here’s a breakdown of the schedule.
Prices range from about $13 (RM50) to $116+ (RM476+), depending on the event or package.
F1 Race Day at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre
You can watch the F1 action live at the Blu Bar & Cigars in Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre from October 2-4, 2026, while enjoying cold beer buckets. The event runs from 11 AM to midnight, and one beer bucket costs around $30-$40.
