Map of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Circuit

IMSA offers fans an up close and unique experience at every single race, with one of the main selling points being the low ticket prices. The Chevrolet Grand Prix offers a wide range of ticket options, with varying prices for all experiences. The iconic track, formerly known as Mosport, offers fans countless viewing options. With the rolling hills and old school track layout, there is hardly a ‘bad view’ at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).
Since the track has some incredible elevation changes, there are fan shuttles available to take race goers to different vantage points at the track to ensure they are maximizing their experience at CTMP! This makes it much easier to navigate the different Turns at the circuit and helps to save time getting from point A to point B.
Single-day reserved seating prices vary by location and day. Purchasing tickets in advance is the most cost-friendly way to secure your spot at CTMP for the race weekend. Tickets start at $70 for the entire weekend IF bought ahead of the weekend. The prices increase slightly when purchasing a ticket closer to the actual race day. For the 2025 Chevrolet Grand Prix, the prices are as follows:
Keep in mind, this is for tickets that are purchased AFTER July 9th, 2025:
- $90 per person for the entire weekend
- $70 for single day tickets
- Saturday & Sunday
- $80 for General Camping (tent or pop-up trailer)
- $100 for RVs (or hard-bodied trailers)
All prices are listed in CAD.

Located in Bowmanville, Ontario, the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is only about an hour outside of the general GTA area (Toronto area), and can be reached easily from any neighbouring cities. There are concession stands located at all the main corners, and race goers can expect a fun-filled Fan Zone with other food options, driver appearances, autograph sessions, bouncy castles, and more!

General Admission

Unlike other series or circuits, General Admission is the main ticket option for the Chevrolet Grand Prix at CTMP as there is only one grandstand at the track. Most fans come and camp rather than commuting to and from the circuit. This includes camping in tents, pop-up trailers, RVs and other hard-bodied trailers. This completely elevates the fan experience and it ends up becoming more of a family affair as it’s tradition to come back every year, camp in the same spot, and watch some great on track action at the most iconic race track in Canadian motorsports history.
One thing for fans to note is that there is limited shade or covered areas at the track unless it is provided by the camping accommodations. Numerous fans opted to bring umbrellas to the circuit to help protect them from the elements. The 2025 weekend was particularly sunny and hot, so the umbrellas provided some shade and relief from the heat, but the Sunday (race day) had torrential rain. It is very important for fans to come prepared for all weather conditions to ensure a comfortable race weekend.
Grandstands
There is only one grandstand located on the track and it is situated right at Turn 3. Occasionally, CTMP will set up another grandstand at Turn 9, but for the 2025 Chevrolet Grand Prix they decided it wasn’t necessary as there are so many other incredible viewing locations.
The grandstand is not numbered and there is no reserved seating as it is located right in the middle of one of the prime camping locations. Fans can come to the grandstand and get a change of scenery, but it operates on a first come, first served basis.
Big Screen: No
Covered: No
Numbered Seating: No
The grandstand has an impeccable view of the cars soaring down the hill at Turn 2 and shifting gears to climb up towards the infamous Moss corner hairpin. The cars are in view for a while at this location, allowing fans to soak in the on-track action.
Fan Areas
The Paddock area, located near the start / finish line and the pit lane exit, is where fans can expect to find different activations, food options and other events to supplement the on track option. There are a variety of food trucks providing fans with different catering options as well as some refreshing beverages to help them stay cool!
Robert Wickens and Daniel Morad were seen in the fan areas, providing fans with time to get selfies and autographs. This is something that is so unique to IMSA as they give race goers the opportunities to get to know the drivers up close. They are so accessible and will happily entertain conversations with the people who support them. There are autograph sessions throughout the weekend located in the paddock and it is possible to find many drivers near their motorhomes in between sessions.
