Best and Worst F1 Fantasy Picks for the Belgian Grand Prix

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps pushes Formula 1 cars to their absolute limit. Long straights, high speed turns, and Spa's unique microclimate combine for one of the most unpredictable weekends of the season. Selecting the best F1 Fantasy lineup for the Belgian Grand Prix requires a balance of stability and high-upside risk.

This week's Tier List rankings reveal the best 2X Boost pick option for Spa, a must-have driver at an unbeatable price, and an emerging budget asset that could be a trap.

Best F1 Fantasy Picks for Spa

Kimi Antonelli

The third most selected driver in F1 Fantasy at 36%, Antonelli last led all drivers in F1 Fantasy scoring four races ago in Monaco. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have steadily chipped away at Kimi's championship lead, threatening his reign as the top driver to carry the 2X Boost. At Silverstone, a whopping 46% of the Global League Top 500 boosted the seven-time World Champion, compared to 50% for Antonelli. A late reliability issue and subsequent penalty limited Antonelli to 23 fantasy points, while Hamilton scored 33.

Despite his recent setbacks, Antonelli still projects as the best driver in F1 Fantasy this weekend. Spa's five Straight Mode zones should showcase the strengths of the Mercedes power unit and a Mercedes driver has started on pole position in every Grand Prix this season. Sportsbooks list Antonelli as the most likely winner on Sunday (+160), ensuring a safe scoring floor for players that boost the Italian sophomore.

Charles Leclerc

Leclerc took his ninth career Grand Prix victory at the British Grand Prix last time out, his first win since Austin in 2024. With both Ferrari drivers in form, players that built their cost caps in recent weeks now have the flexibility to pair Leclerc with Kimi Antonelli. A lineup of Antonelli, Leclerc, Arvid Lindblad, Lance Stroll, and Nico Hulkenberg with the Mercedes and Ferrari constructors costs $119.4M.

As Leclerc's comfort in the SF-26 grows and Ferrari continue to optimize performance through the Additional Development Upgrade Opportunities (ADUO) program, F1 Fantasy's seventh most expensive driver should blossom into a top value pick. If Leclerc excels in Friday's practice sessions, expect Antonelli/Leclerc builds to become a popular pivot before lineups lock.

Isack Hadjar

The standout driver in Tier B (< $18.5M), Hadjar consistently delivers high scores and budget gains. He finished P6 or higher in five straight Grands Prix and since Monaco, Isack outscored Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, and both McLaren drivers in F1 Fantasy. His value grew the maximum of $0.6M in three straight race weekends and he needs just 10 fantasy points to extend that streak at Spa.

With a price exactly $10M less than Leclerc, Hadjar allows teams with lower cost caps to afford a similar upside at a much lower cost. He stands out as one of the easiest picks of the weekend.

Franco Colapinto

Colapinto continues to impress in his first season with Alpine. He ranks ninth in fantasy scoring, fourth in value per million, and his $4.2M value gained is most among all drivers. The Argentinian holds the longest streak of consecutive Grands Prix without a retirement — spanning back to Abu Dhabi 2024 and his stint with Williams.

Entering this weekend, Franco needs just 1 point to gain another $0.6 as Alpine continue to produce a reliable midfield package. Selected by just 20% of all teams, consider Colapinto a differential pick that offers scoring and cost cap upside.

Racing Bulls

New players and teams struggling to build budget can rely on Racing Bulls as one of the steadiest assets in F1 Fantasy. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, strong fantasy values in their own right, finished in the top 10 at each of the last four Grands Prix. VCARB average 31.3 fantasy points per race, sixth among all constructors and just 9.1 PPR away from their sister outfit, Red Bull, who cost $18.6M more.

Crucially, Racing Bulls continue to dominate in the pits. Their three Fastest Pit Stop awards are tied with Mercedes for most on the grid and they scored more fantasy points from pit stops than Ferrari and McLaren. Whether you're starting a new team or trying to afford two elite drivers, Racing Bulls remain the best constructor in Tier B.

Fernando Alonso

Needing just 3 points to achieve the maximum $0.6M price gain, the Spanish veteran emerged on the fantasy radar for the first time this week. Alonso's season has started to stabilize after four DNFs in the opening seven races, but he needs a longer run of success to earn a spot in F1 Fantasy lineups. Aston Martin continue to field the slowest package on the grid, and with a major upgrade scheduled for Hungary, the risk of bringing in Alonso one race early in an unreliable car outweighs his budget building upside.
