Cadillac Formula 1 Team will reveal its 2026 car in a Super Bowl ad on February 8. They picked the Super Bowl because more than 127 million people watch it. Cadillac wants to show its American roots and make a big impression. This also shows that F1 is becoming about entertainment, not just sport.

Hamlin and NASCAR clash in court over antitrust case
Denny Hamlin told the court that NASCAR’s new charter deal is bad for teams and would hurt their future. NASCAR’s lawyers showed old messages where Hamlin spoke well of NASCAR to prove his current claims do not match his past words. Hamlin argued he only made positive comments in public to keep sponsors calm and avoid trouble, and he explained how expensive it is to run 23XI Racing. The day ended with NASCAR executive Scott Prime being questioned about emails and plans made in the charter talks.

JHR retains Sting Ray Robb for second season
Sting Ray Robb will stay with Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2026 IndyCar season. This is his second year in a row with the team, and he will race with Rinus Veekay. The team boss says Robb’s skill and consistency are very important for the team. Robb is ready to do better than last season and help the team get stronger.

Rachel Robertson shines on F1 Academy debut
Rachel Robertson, an 18-year-old Wiltshire College student, made her first F1 Academy race start in Las Vegas after a late call-up from the Hitech TGR team. She surprised everyone as she went from 14th on the grid to 4th in the first race. Her chance came after a strong year in the Radical Cup UK and support that helped her do important F4 tests. The weekend lifted her confidence, and she now hopes for a full-time F1 Academy seat and a place in British F4 next year.

Heart of Racing returns to IMSA Daytona 2026
The Heart of Racing will race in IMSA again for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona in two cars, the No. 23 Aston Martin Valkyrie in GTP and the No. 27 Aston Martin Vantage in GTD. Eduardo “Dudu” Barrichello will race full-time in IMSA for the first time alongside Tom Gamble, Zacharie Robichon, and Mattia Drudi. The No. 23 Valkyrie keeps Ross Gunn and Roman De Angelis as main drivers, and Alex Riberas and Marco Sørensen are set for big races. After a strong 2025 and the Valkyrie’s first podium, the team aims to win and improve in 2026.
