Traveling to Indianapolis for the 2026 Indy 500? Make sure you don't miss out on these events, activities and fan zones happening all throughout the weekend!
The Indianapolis 500 is one of the most incredible racing events in the entire world. Held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this monumental event has become known as the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, and for good reason! Held over the course of two grueling weeks, the teams and drivers partake in the Qualifying weekend from May 15-17 ahead of the actual race weekend which takes place on May 22-24.
Besides the high-speed on-track action, the Indy 500 provides fans with unparalleled access to events, live music, merchandise and more! With the renowned ‘Carb Day’ taking place on the Friday of the race weekend, fans come to the track for the traditional events such as the Carb Day Concert and the Pit Stop Challenge.
Keep in mind that some details have yet to be confirmed. Check back soon for more information!
Miller Lite Carb Day Concert
The Miller Lite Carb Day Concert has become a fan favorite event on one of the most iconic days in racing history. Carb Day, which historically was used as the last day for teams to tune their cars ahead of the race, now takes place on the Friday before the race weekend and has since become known as more of a fan festival. This year, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) will be hosting the Counting Crows joined by special guest, Switchfoot.
Counting Crows are a Grammy and Academy-Award nominated band and they are sure to bring entertainment that is on par with what’s expected from the on-track action at the Indy 500.
The best part about the Miller Lite Carb Day Concert? All general admission, concert pit and VIP Deck concert tickets include admission to the concert and to the on-track activities on Carb Day at IMS.
Tickets are now on sale here or there is an option to purchase tickets by calling 317-492-6700. Fans located in Indianapolis can also visit the IMS Ticket Office at the IMS Administration Building to secure their 2026 tickets.
Coors Light Snake Pit
The Snake Pit is one of the things that makes the Indianapolis 500 such a unique race for fans to take part in. Not only is one of the greatest spectacles in racing taking place on the iconic circuit, but there is a full concert happening throughout the duration of the race. Last year, Rob Gronkowski served as the celebrity Grand Marshal for the Snake Pit at the Indy 500, where his full job was to essentially keep the party going! This year, the Grand Marshal has yet to be announced but the headliners for the weekend are looking to be electric.
Zedd is set to headline the Snake Pit on the Sunday of the race weekend. He'll be joined by a star-studded lineup included Crankdat, Wooli, it's murph and Wax Motif. Zedd actually performed at the Snake Pit back in 2017 when Mario Andretti took him for a hot lap around the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
Keep in mind that Snake Pit ticketholders must be +18 years old and have either a valid Indy 500 General Admission (GA) ticket or a reserved seat ticket. Ticket holders will also be asked for a proper ID upon entry to the Snake Pit.
