McLaren will let Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri race freely at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. If Piastri cannot win the championship, he may help Norris get the title. This could mean Norris passes if it helps him. The team wants both drivers to understand the plan before the race.

NASCAR drivers to race in Snowball Derby
Eight NASCAR drivers will race in the Snowball Derby at 5 Flags Speedway, a major late model event. The lineup includes Cup drivers Kyle Busch, Noah Gragson, Erik Jones, and Ryan Preece, plus Truck drivers Ty Majeski, Kaden Honeycutt, Jake Garcia, and Dawson Sutton. Busch, Gragson, and Jones have all won the race before. Preece is also back in the field and now runs with his own late model team.

Power set for Daytona debut with 75 Express
The #75 Mercedes-AMG GT3, called 75 Express, will race in GTD Pro with Mostert, Power, Engel, and one more driver. Mostert comes back to Daytona after his 2020 victory, and Power will race there for the first time. The team aims to succeed with a steady car, smart strategy, and flawless driving. Mercedes-AMG announced the car as part of a strong group of entries for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Good Ranchers to sponsor IndyCar Phoenix race
IndyCar returns to Phoenix Raceway, and Good Ranchers will be the main sponsor of the 250-mile race. The company also supports Scott McLaughlin’s No. 3 car at Team Penske. Phoenix Raceway president Latasha Causey said Good Ranchers cares about the community and veterans. The early season has tests in Phoenix and races in St. Petersburg, Phoenix, Arlington, and Barber Motorsports Park.

Artemis Racing launches AC50 in Abu Dhabi
Artemis Racing from Sweden has revealed its new AC50 boat in Abu Dhabi as a new SailGP team. Nathan Outteridge leads the team, and Brad Farrand from New Zealand joins him, while another top New Zealand sailor is expected later. The team has strong support from backer Torbjörn Törnqvist, and CEO Iain Percy guides the project alongside Artemis Technologies. As a new entry, the team has a few extra days to prepare before Season 6, but Outteridge says it is still a short time to face teams like Australia, Great Britain, and New Zealand.
