Aston Martin reports £46m loss in 2024

Aston Martin lost £45.8 million in 2024, their fifth straight year of losses. Their income still rose 14.7% to £280.7 million. Team owner Lawrence Stroll aims to turn the team into a front-runner despite limited success so far. With new sponsors and strong backing, Aston Martin remains one of the top UK-based teams by revenue.

United Autosports exits 2026 WEC for McLaren Hypercar

United Autosports will skip the 2026 WEC season to focus on McLaren’s 2027 Hypercar project. The team will still race in the Asia and European Le Mans Series and in LMP2 at Le Mans. CEO Richard Dean said the Hypercar project is a big opportunity and a dream come true. United will return to WEC in 2027 as part of the McLaren United AS Hypercar Team.

Pierson joins Andretti for fourth Indy NXT year

Josh Pierson will race his fourth Indy NXT season in 2026 for Andretti Global after HMD Motorsports. He finished sixth in 2025 with two podiums and several top-five finishes. Pierson joins Andretti’s four-car team and aims to get closer to IndyCar. This year, he also raced in Formula Regional Oceania and the WEC LMP2 class.
