Oscar Piastri
No longer the top driver in F1 Fantasy or the most likely winner of the World Driver's Championship according to recent betting lines, Piastri's struggles have reached an all-time high. He failed to score more than 20 fantasy points in three straight races and he finished P8 in his only two appearances in Mexico. Piastri is capable of rebounding but at this point, he needs to prove he deserves a spot in the meta lineup.
Charles Leclerc
A much-needed podium sparked a season-high 48 points for Leclerc at COTA last weekend. He finished P3 each of the last two seasons in Mexico and all four Ferrari-powered cars finished in the top 10, with teammate Carlos Sainz claiming victory. Leclerc opens the week as an intriguing alternative to George Russell in 4A lineups.
Red Bull

Four straight races of at least 50 fantasy points confirms that Red Bull have entered the fight for the top fantasy constructor. Yuki Tsunoda posted his two best finishes, P6 in Baku and P7 at COTA, in that stretch while Red Bull also sent two drivers into Q3 twice. They also scored 15 or more points from pit stops in 5 of the last 8 races. This constructor continues to improve in several key scoring areas.
Oliver Bearman

Picking up the mantle from Kevin Magnussen, Bearman is piloting another Haas to the overtaking crown in 2025. Mexico ranked among the top 5 circuits in overtakes in 2023 and 2024, so Bearman's 8-point target to gain $0.6M is achievable. Teams with the budget to run Bearman over an Alpine driver should take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Fernando Alonso
Beware of the driver with the third lowest target to get $0.6M this weekend. Alonso failed to reach the checkered flag in three straight Mexican Grands Prix after retiring for the fifth time in seven years at COTA. The Spanish veteran DNF'd a record eighth time at Monza, indicating that lady luck evades Alonso at some circuits more than others.
