Charles Leclerc tops the final free practice session in Monaco ahead of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris
The drivers just completed the third and final practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Charles Leclerc has looked strong all weekend, topping FP1 and FP2 in his Ferrari. Ahead of qualifying, Lance Stroll has received a one-place grid penalty for the collision with Leclerc in FP1 and Ollie Bearman has received a 10-place grid penalty for overtaking during a red flag in FP2. See what happend in this session:
- Isack Hadjar had some issues with Yuki Tsunoda as the two almost had a collision in the tunnel sector of the track
- A similar issue happened with Kimi Antonelli and Gabriel Bortoleto who were getting in the way of each other
- Alex Albon is looking very strong and comfortable in his Williams
- The Thai driver has performed very well this entire season and is looking to collect more points in the race
- Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda were having some issues with the car and finding grip
- Lewis Hamilton brought out the red flag with one minute left in the session after he brushed the barrier and parked his Ferrari down near the casino.
