Laguna Seca's growth a good sign for IndyCar
Laguna Seca president Mel Harder announced that ticket sales are up over 2024 to the tune of nearly 20%. They attribute the growth to new experiences throughout the circuit as well as improvements to facilities. These updates go hand-in-hand with the new broadcast relationship with Fox Sports and the on-track action that currently sits with Alex Palou leading the field.

Ferrari counting on Hamilton's experience in the wet
Charles Leclerc says Ferrari is depending on Lewis Hamilton’s experience to help fix the team’s long-standing struggles in wet conditions. Ferrari hasn’t won a wet race since 2012, and Leclerc admits the current car is extremely hard to drive when it rains. He believes Hamilton’s input has already been helpful behind the scenes, and the team is working hard to improve. After qualifying third at Spa, Leclerc was happy with his lap but isn’t sure how well Ferrari will perform in the race compared to McLaren.

Hill slams NASCAR over costly penalty
Austin Hill hit Aric Almirola during the NASCAR Xfinity race at Indianapolis, sending Almirola's car into the wall. NASCAR gave Hill a five-lap penalty for reckless driving, which ruined his chances in the race. Hill was very angry on the radio, saying he didn't crash on purpose and that NASCAR was wrong. But the replay showed he had control of his car, and he might get another penalty that could affect his 2025 season.
