Alpine struggled again in Mexico, with Gasly and Colapinto at the back of the field. The team has not developed the car this season, so they are slower than other midfield teams. Gasly criticized the long soft tire stint, which caused high degradation and slow lap times. He hopes rain in the next race in Brazil could create better opportunities.

At Phoenix, many NASCAR cars had tire problems after Chase Briscoe’s tire failed early in practice. Teams set up their cars too low and used very low tire pressure to go faster. This made the tires take too much stress and fail. Teams then raised the pressure and changed setups to prevent more issues.

Chloe Chambers shines in Formula E women’s test
Chloe Chambers was the fastest driver at Formula E’s women’s test in Valencia with a time of 1m22.767 for Mahindra. She led both sessions and was only four-tenths slower than the quickest lap from the main pre-season test. Her time was even faster than Formula E rookie Pepe Marti’s. Abbi Pulling came second, Bianca Bustamante third, and Jamie Chadwick finished sixth.

Andretti lists $12M house in Indiana for sale
Michael Andretti has put his large lakefront home in Fishers, Indiana, up for $12 million. The property covers five acres with nine bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and garages for over a dozen cars. It includes a movie room, wine cellar, pool, and guest apartments by the water. Andretti and his family have moved to a new $27 million mansion in Florida.
