Bearman hasn’t proven himself at Ferrari yet

Ollie Bearman did well in Mexico but isn’t ready for a Ferrari seat yet. His first F1 season has been up and down, with mistakes even though he is clearly fast. Ferrari looks for drivers who can be world champions, so he needs to be more consistent and careful. Still, his improvement at Haas shows he could earn a Ferrari spot in the future.

Marco Andretti retires from IndyCar after 20 seasons

Marco Andretti leaves IndyCar after 20 years, and the family’s run at the Indianapolis 500 that started in 2005 stays unbroken. He won two races in 253 starts and earned as many Indy 500 podiums as his grandfather Mario, more than his father Michael. Despite some close calls at Indy, the “Andretti Curse” remains. Marco will now focus on his daughter and business projects.

How NASCAR teams bend the rules with brake pads

NASCAR teams use a method called brake pad split to make their cars faster since the rules stop them from custom parts. They fit different brake pads on each side to help the car turn better, especially on tough tracks like Phoenix Raceway. This setup can make the car quicker but also unsafe because uneven heat can damage or break the brakes. Teams must choose how much risk they will take before each race.

Layne Riggs signs 2026 NASCAR deal

Front Row Motorsports gave Layne Riggs a multi-year Truck Series deal in the No. 34 Ford F-150 with Dylan Cappello as his crew chief. Riggs had a great 2025 season with three wins, three poles, and 12 top-five results. He said he works well with Cappello because they understand each other and have similar skills. The team wants to compete for the 2026 Truck Series title.

F1 champion Button announces end to racing career

Jenson Button, who won the 2009 Formula 1 championship, will stop after the World Endurance Championship finale in Bahrain next week. The 45-year-old said he wants more time with his family and can’t keep up with the busy schedule. Button won 15 F1 races and beat Lewis Hamilton while they were teammates at McLaren. He said this will be his last professional event, but he’ll still drive classic cars for fun and work as an F1 TV pundit.
