McIlroy, Joshua, and Kelce may sell Alpine stake
Sports stars like Rory McIlroy, Anthony Joshua, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Ryan Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney are part of the group that owns part of the Alpine team through Otro Capital. Reports say they might sell their share soon and could make a big profit from their £165 million investment. Alpine has had a bad season with only 20 points and is at the bottom of the table. The team plans to use Mercedes engines next year, and some investors may be unsure about their involvement.

Why NASCAR’s IndyCar TV deal never happened
NASCAR once thought about a shared TV deal with IndyCar to make more money and attract more fans. The idea came up in 2019 but was never approved. Instead, NASCAR made its own $7.7 billion deal with FOX, NBC, and Amazon starting in 2025, while IndyCar signed a deal with FOX for all its races. Even though they didn’t team up, both series now plan to hold some race weekends together.

Enzo Fittipaldi joins HMD for Indy Nxt return
Enzo Fittipaldi will join HMD Motorsports in Indy Nxt next year after time in Formula 2 and the European Le Mans Series. The 24-year-old American-Brazilian wants to use this move to reach IndyCar in the future. He has already tested with Dale Coyne Racing and McLaren, and HMD’s boss said Enzo’s talent and experience will help the team and its younger drivers.

F1 Academy drivers test in Bahrain
F1 Academy had a three-day test in Bahrain before some drivers went to Spain for Formula E. Maya Weug was the fastest most of the time, ahead of Doriane Pin. Chloe Chambers and Ella Lloyd missed part of the test to try Formula E. Other drivers like Alisha Palmowski, Alba Hurup Larsen, and Joanna Ciconte did well but were slower than Weug.

Le Mans winner Calado extends Ferrari deal
Ferrari has given Le Mans winner James Calado a new multi-year contract to stay with the team. He drives the #51 Ferrari 499P with Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi and is still in the fight for the 2025 WEC title after winning Le Mans in 2023. Calado has taken part in over 130 races for Ferrari, with 27 wins and 62 podiums, including three victories in the 499P at Le Mans, Imola, and Spa. He said he always wanted to stay with Ferrari, and the team praised his loyalty and success over the years.
